In a move that has sent ripples through the academic community, the University of Dayton’s president, Eric Spina, has announced his retirement in 2027, marking the end of a transformative era for the institution. A Buffalo, New York native, he’s a graduate of Canisius High School, Carnegie Mellon University, and Princeton University.
